Ghosts of the Uncivil Dead

This video by Neo Loki presents in a poetic fashion their take on the tragic events that befell the ancient Pthumerian race.

I don’t tend to add comments about the content that I post. The fact that it is being posted is in itself a comment that I think this is something of quality and that it adds something to the discussion of the lore and narrative of Bloodborne.

That being said, I have to admit that this is one of my favorite pieces that I have posted. Most of what I post are videos and articles that aspire to present convincing proof that validates a certain interpretation of the world of Bloodborne. This video, however, engages the viewer on an emotional level, conveying the tragedy of the Pthumerians. While it may not be your typical lore post, it conveys the drama of an aspect of Bloodborne where I generally don’t feel an emotional connection, and does it in a wonderfully artistic way.

What's Really Going On In Bloodborne - The Tomb of the Gods

Rich Stanton of Kotaku wrote a very extensive interpretation of the narrative of Bloodborne that you can find here. The following is an excerpt from the article in which Rich presents his interpretation of the Tomb of the Gods, and I highly recommend reading the original article in it's entirety. All content presented is the work of Rich Stanton and Kotaku, with only minor formatting changes made.
